SpongeOh! is the third and latest hand-crafted ceramic light collection presented by the young Spanish design company Pott. After exploring sizes, colours and heights in the previous two chapters, designer Miguel Angel García Belmonte concludes the Sponge lamps trilogy with the SpongeOh! collection where shapes and textures are now the protagonists. Hand-made in Totana in Southern Spain, the SpongeOh! pendant lights are proposing a balanced juxtaposition of a smooth clay surface, typical of traditional pottery, and a porous strip, distinctive element of the Sponge series which let the light flows into the room to create a unique textured atmosphere. Pott’s SpongeOh! lamps are available in two sizes and colour choices.
SpongheOh! es la colección más reciente de lámparas de cerámica fabricadas a mano presentada por Pott, joven empresa de diseño española. Tras haber experimentado con diversos tamaños y colores en la entrega anterior de la serie, el diseñador Miguel Ángel García Bernal concluye su colección de lámparas Sponge con la línea SpongeOh!, en la que las texturas y las formas cobran protagonismo. Hechas a mano en Totana, en el sureste español, las lámparas de techo SpongeOh! proponen el equilibrio entre el fino acabado de la arcilla utilizada como material de base inspirándose en la alfarería tradicional, y el elemento distintivo de la serie, una franja perforada que permite el paso de la luz a través del cuerpo de la lámpara creando interesantes texturas en la iluminación de diversas estancias.
